Phil Hughes passes away after suffering head injury

"We are extremely sad to announce that Phillip Hughes has passed away at the age of 25," Cricket Australia (CA) wrote on its Twitter page today. He was in St Vincent Hospital in Sydney and had undergone surgery. Hughes would have turned 26 on November 30 (Sunday).Hughes played 26 Tests, 25 ODIs and 1 T20I for Australia. His final Test was at Lord's in July 2013. His final ODI came last month against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, one week after he played his lone T20 international against the same opposition in Dubai. Australian Team Doctor Peter Brukner said, "It is my sad duty to inform you that a short time ago Phillip Hughes passed away. He never regained consciousness following his injury on Tuesday. He was not in pain before he passed and was surrounded by his family and close friends
